David Lawson (he/him)
David Lawson is a career and educational planning specialist with more than four decades of experience assisting secondary school and post-secondary students to define and achieve career goals. For the past 20 years, he has worked with Career Solutions assisting thousands of students, families and individuals at various stages of their career to make confident choices of career direction, schools and programs and move forward successfully. He is an expert in career testing and counselling, and helping people find the right path.
David was the founder of the nationally renowned Career Planning and Employment Centre at McMaster University, where he assisted students from 1st year through post-doctoral studies to choose careers and achieve educational goals.
David was featured in two CBC National Magazine career planning specials. He has been widely quoted in Macleans, the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, the Hamilton Spectator and wrote a bi-weekly column for the Burlington Post.
David provides expert help to people making transitions from one job or employer to another. He has worked successfully with professionals, CEOs, middle and senior managers and people at all stages of career development to assist in career change.
